Account & Login

Everything about getting into your dashboard and keeping it secure — from passwords and 2FA to team access and getting back in if you're locked out.

Your HostFilya dashboard is the control centre for everything — your sites, domains, email, billing and team. This guide walks through signing in, keeping your account safe, and sorting out the occasional "I can't get in" moment. None of it is technical; if you can use email, you can do all of this.

Logging into your dashboard

To sign in, head to the login page at hostfilya.com/login and enter the email address and password you chose when you signed up. Once you're in, you'll land on your dashboard, where every product and setting lives behind a clear menu. Tick "remember this device" on a computer you trust to skip re-entering your details each time — but never on a shared or public machine.

Resetting a forgotten password

Forgotten passwords happen to everyone. Here's how to set a new one:

  1. On the login page, click Forgot password?
  2. Enter the email address on your account and submit.
  3. Open the reset email we send (check spam if it's not there within a minute or two).
  4. Click the secure link — it's valid for a limited time for your safety.
  5. Choose a strong new password and confirm it. You'll be signed in straight away.

If the reset email never arrives, double-check you're using the same address you registered with, then reach out to support and we'll help verify your identity.

Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a second step to login — usually a six-digit code from an app on your phone — so a stolen password alone isn't enough to get in. We strongly recommend turning it on.

  1. Open Account → Security in your dashboard.
  2. Click Enable two-factor authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
  4. Enter the code the app shows to confirm it's working.
  5. Save your backup recovery codes somewhere safe and offline.
Tip: store your 2FA recovery codes in a password manager or printed in a drawer — anywhere that isn't only on the same phone that runs the authenticator app. They're your way back in if you lose that device.

Adding team members, roles and permissions

You don't have to share your master login to let a colleague help out. Invite them as their own user instead, with exactly the access they need:

  • Owner — full control, including billing and the ability to close the account. Keep this to one or two trusted people.
  • Admin — manage sites, domains and settings, but not ownership-level actions.
  • Billing — view and pay invoices and update payment methods, without touching the sites.
  • Developer — access the technical tools and files needed to build, with limited account settings.

To invite someone, open Account → Team, click Invite member, enter their email and pick a role. They'll receive an invitation to set up their own login, and you can change or revoke their access at any time.

Updating your email and profile

You can change your name, contact email, time zone and notification preferences under Account → Profile. When you update the email tied to your account, we send a confirmation link to the new address to make sure it really belongs to you — the change only takes effect once you click it. Keeping this address current matters, because it's where password resets and important security alerts are sent.

Security tips for your account

A few simple habits keep your account well out of reach of attackers:

  • Use a long, unique password you don't reuse anywhere else — a password manager makes this painless.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication and store the recovery codes safely.
  • Be wary of emails asking you to "verify" your login; always type the address yourself rather than clicking a link.
  • Review your team members periodically and remove anyone who no longer needs access.
  • Sign out of shared devices, and check active sessions under Security if anything looks unfamiliar.

What to do if you're locked out

Locked out? Don't panic — there's always a route back in. Start with the Forgot password? flow above. If you've lost access to your 2FA device, use one of the backup recovery codes you saved when you enabled it. If you don't have those either, contact our support team: we'll ask you to confirm a few details to verify you're the genuine account holder, then help you regain access safely. Our team is on chat, email and phone 24/7, so you're never stuck for long.
