We keep billing simple and predictable, because nobody likes nasty surprises on an invoice. This guide explains how charges work, how to change plans, what happens at renewal, and how to get a refund if you ever need one.
Every HostFilya plan can be paid monthly or annually. Monthly billing offers maximum flexibility — you pay for one month at a time and can cancel whenever you like. Annual billing is paid once for the year and works out noticeably cheaper per month, which is why most customers choose it. The features are identical either way; only the price and billing cycle change.
Tip: if you know you'll keep your site for at least a year, annual billing is the best value — the per-month rate is lower and you only have one invoice to think about.
You can change plans at any time from your dashboard under Billing → Change plan. Upgrades take effect instantly and your sites, files and settings stay exactly where they are.
Proration just means you only pay for what you use. If you upgrade halfway through a billing period, we charge you the difference between your old and new plan for the remaining days — not a full new period. If you downgrade, the unused value from your current plan is credited toward your next invoice. You'll always see the exact prorated amount on screen before you confirm.
Plans renew automatically so your site never goes offline by accident. Before each renewal we email you a reminder with the date and amount, so there's never a mystery charge.
Every hosting plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy for any reason in your first 30 days, we'll refund your hosting fee — no awkward questions.
Note that domain registrations are non-refundable once registered, since that fee goes to the domain registry — but the domain stays yours.

Card expiring or switching payment method? Go to Billing → Payment methods, add the new card or PayPal account, and set it as default. We'll use it for your next renewal automatically — no need to cancel and start over.
You can cancel any time from Billing → Cancel plan. Your service stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, so you won't lose access immediately. We'll ask if you'd like a backup of your data before things wind down, and our team is always happy to help if something wasn't working — sometimes a quick chat solves it.
